Easy or easier way to do Volunteer background apps?
« on: January 12, 2012, 01:38:00 PM »

Just got my LL Volunteer app from John Schmidt, Magnolia's UiC.

Since the application is universal, could we use this forum to post all of the D8's UiC's mailing addresses, so we could fill out, copy and send to those leagues with whom we want to work?

Short answer, no. This is a forum, not a application repository. Volunteer apps must be sent to the league because each league's president is required and responsible to approve the apps.

What is so difficult about Scanning the signed application and then emailing it to the league president? If you don't have their email addresses your UiC and president do so you could send the app to them and have them forward it.

First, sorry for the snotty reply, had a very crappy day at work when I replied.  Not to mention I didn't read your post correctly.  The rest still applies though.  Have your UiC or president send it to the "other" league UiC or president.

Thanks, I needed a good laugh.

If UiCs could post a mailing address, it'd help us out.

Ok, I can't resist.  If you can't get your UiC or president to pass it along, then couldn't you go to that league's web site and send it that way?  Save you from having to log into the forum each time!  :-)
